Another "ONE"

This is one of my favorite pictures from the indoor season.  He is SO beautiful!  Those big eyes absolutely melt me!

This is another of my sweet babies who I photographed for his first year!  It is so bittersweet for me.  I love seeing them change and grow, but it happens so darn fast!

Let's Backtrack, shall we?

Back around Easter time, I took this little bunny's picture.  Isn't she ADORABLE!  

This is Miss Ashlyn.  I have been taking her picture since she was a tiny newborn.  She just turned one, and I was so happy to capture her pictures for the first year!  

I'm Back!....maybe.

WOW, it's been a long time since I have been here.  I was just thinking about how much I dislike change, and I have had so much change in my life lately.  I thought that getting back to something that I love like blogging would help my spirits, so I logged onto to my familiar site only to find out that I don't know how to blog anymore, and that Google has changed the entire process.  Have I mentioned that I don't like change?  It has taken me hours to figure this new process out, and I don't even know if this will post correctly.

Thank you for all the e-mails and your concern about my disappearance.  The company where I happily worked for 12+ years sold which forced me into a new job.  It has been very stressful, but I am trying to stay positive and be glad that I have a good job in this economy.   

I have lots of catching up to do around here.  Honestly, I don't even know where I left off, so I will share one of my favorite little subjects.  Miss GiGi is getting so big!  I have ALWAYS wanted bluebonnet pictures, but have never been able to travel to Texas during the spring, bluebonnet season.  I was super excited to find bluebonnets about 10 miles from our house.  

Enjoy the weekend!  Hopefully, I will be back on a more regular basis!  (Now where is that post button???  GRR!)

Newborn Session

Another entire week flew by, and I forgot to blog. Lot of illnesses have struck our house recently. Poor GiGi has caught just about everything this winter. Today, she missed her 6th day of school in three weeks. :(

Laughter is the Best Medicine

I have found myself in my usual winter funk lately. I can't seem to keep myself motivated; although the warm sunshine and spring-like days have helped a little, and of course these two giggling cuties in front of my camera. Laughter is always just what the doctor ordered!

My BOY is back

I have never minded GTO's long hair. If it's fixed, I think it looks really cute. The problem is that GTO's hair is very straight and fine, so most of the time it is hanging in his eyes and looking ragged. I didn't think he would cut it anytime soon. My dad even offered to pay him $100 last summer to cut his hair, but GTO turned it down.

I look at him now and I see my little boy. The only problem is that he comes up to my nose now!
