His True Love

Before he was one, we could see his passion for music. He would always light up when he heard any type of music, and an obsession for instruments soon followed. Every Christmas and birthday, he would ask for a new instrument...drum set, saxophone, guitar, harmonica, accordian, keyboard. We finally had to tell him "no" when he asked for bagpipes. He would take his instruments to preschool for show and tell and play for his classmates. He is now 5 and has finally started piano lessons and loves it. He also loves to compose his own music. One song that we hear often is called Rock Star. It has many different lyrics and verses depending on his mood. Below are a few of the lyrics that we wrote down today.
