Vacation Ideas

My 10 year anniversary is this August and hubby and I have started talking about where we would like to go. I am not a good planner and am a bit indecisive, so I need your suggestions. I would love any feedback that you may have.

Hubby has already talked to our travel agent about going to the Bahamas. Don't get me wrong, the Bahamas are beautiful, BUT I feel like we have already been on that vacation...
We honeymooned in Maui, where we snorkeled, para sailed, and sailed the pacific on a beautiful catamaran...
Our first anniversary was spent in this beautiful resort where we floated through the beautiful scenery on a gondola and traveled through the mountainous desert...

Our 5th anniversary was spent relaxing by the Caribbean in Montego Bay where we snorkeled and walked along the beach every morning.

My point is that we have already done the touristy beach vacations. While I know the Bahamas would be absolutely gorgeous, part of me wants to...

zip line through Costa Rica....
...Or take an adrenalin filled ride while white water rafting...
Or canoe through a remote mountainous region....
Or stay in a quaint little town along the East coast where we ride bicycles to the local ice cream parlor in the evenings.
If you know of any great spots that you could recommend, I would greatly appreciate it! What is your dream vacation?

Well don't y'all go on fancy vacations?!!! You are so lucky your hubs wants to travel. Adam has NO interest unless there is hunting involved. Blah.

Y'all should travel to Big Bend here in Texas. There is a hotel called the Gage Hotel, quit famous. 5 star. I have never been but want to go with the hubs very soon.

My parents have been and so have some friends for romantic getaways. It is supposed to be amazing.

Costa Rica, Costa Rica, Costa Rica! I spent two weeks there with my sister and by the time we were done she was planning on moving there. The Pacuare River is spectacular for rafting.

Ohh, or British Columbia. I love it there. The scenery is unforgetable and you will gorg yourself on the most amazing fuit. Vancouver Island is wonderful and you can ride bikes around, hike, or canoe. Tons to do.

If you really want adventure try New Zealand, the south island. If you want to try it, they do it. It's where the filmed Lord of the Rings so you get an idea of the scenery.

I should send you an email. I'm ridiculously excited over your vacation:-)

I loved costa rica!!! We landed in san jose, traveled to monteverde to see the rain forest, zip corded, traveled to arenal to the hot springs and see the volcano, to quepos to a beautiful beachside condo, and to puerto viejo (a jamaican style black sandy beach town). San jose has theatre and lots of attractions. It was wonderful! I can't wait to go back! So there's my vote!
