It seems everyone's days have been filled with Christmas activities and preparations. As for us, we have attended Christmas parties, finished decorating the house, shopped, wrapped presents, made Gingerbread houses, sent Christmas cards, visited Santa, sang Christmas carols at the clubhouse, decorated Great Grandma's tree at the nursing home, and drove through the neighborhood to see all the lights. I am hoping next week will be a little more relaxing in preparation of the big day. Our tree is looking a little blah this year. I have plans to change it up a bit next year.
I love receiving Christmas cards. I can't get out of my car fast enough to run to the mailbox. This year, I wrapped our banister with lighted garland and have attached the cards to the garland. I love seeing them as I walk by.
