I took a few weeks off for the holidays and to celebrate GiGi's birthday, but it's time to get back to business, and what better way to get back in the swing of things than with one of my favorite little guys. Hands down, Mr. Cannon has to be the happiest, easiest-to-please baby I have ever met! I don't think I have ever heard him cry or even let out a whimper. He is the perfect baby to photograph and I have enjoyed every session with him. This series comes close to summing up my year in photography.
In December 2009, I welcomed this Santa Baby into my studio.
At three months old, it was warm enough to soak up some sun, and to capture those adorable first giggles.
At 6 months old, we were lucky enough to catch the wildflowers in full bloom. These are still some of my favorite baby images EVER...love the color.
We also had to celebrate the U.S. of A. Another one of my favorite images.
In the fall, we captured 9 month pictures at one of my favorite, abandoned buildings. By this time, he had perfected his smiles on command. :)
In the blink of an eye, December 2010 was upon us. Cannon returned to the studio for his one year session.
His personality is really shining now...I think he might have been playing a little AIR GUITAR!
Love this.
I can't wait to do more cake sessions. This is a series of fun captures. I think he enjoyed it as much as I did!

We'll have a new baby arriving in Sept and I'd love for you to take "their" (not sure yet) birth announcement pics! you have such a talent. Your pics are always amazing and I look forward to seeing more :)
