I used to love black and white photography...that is, until I got my DSLR camera and now I can't get enough of the bright colors. I think it has something to do with my kids bright, blue eyes. I love capturing their vibrant eye color. Recently, I went to a friend's house, who is a great photographer, and she had a few black and white photos of her kids enlarged on her wall which has inspired me to start trying out black and white on a few photos. I haven't captured any that I am competely satisfied with, but I am still giving it an effort.

I agree with you about capturing those baby blues in color, they are so vibrant. For this particular photo I prefer the black and white. She has a fantastic contrast in her eyes and black and white gives such a classic look. Either way the kids are beautiful.
