Staying Positive...

One of the reasons I like to blog and take so many pictures is that it helps me to keep a positive outlook on life. Trust me, if you have been through the week that I have with my darling, not so darling 4 year old child, you would understand that what I would really like to do is show you the extra gray hairs that have popped up on my head, along with a few extra wrinkles, and tell you that I am done having children due to being mentally exhausted from a few very long tantrums (or as my sister-in-law would say, "wild ass fits" (waf), and ask you how to deal with my tunnel visioned child who only sees how to do things one way, which is "her way" or the highway, BUT since I have this blog, and can see the below picture of my beautiful girl, I won't tell you about all the traumatic details of the week. Instead, I will say how grateful I am to be a mom of two outstanding kids who are happy and healthy and who bring so much joy and sorrow to my life every single day, and that I will continue to pray that God will bless me with another sweet, laid back child like GTO happy and healthy child (with big blue eyes of course).

See how that works. It is quite simple to stay positive...just blog away! (and when this doesn't work, I can always go back and read this post to help me)

Tk You for sharing Bec, but totally understand 'grey hair & wrinkles', and Toni is right, it doesn't end when they are grown and move out as you have been told before... by I wonder who...but you do have two beautiful children that God blessed you with and more to follow when the time is right. Bless you all, Trudy

I am with you girl! Some days I wonder what we were thinking wanting 4 kids! Strangers stop me in public and tell me how brave I am, when sometimes I think "you mean crazy right?" But stopping to look at those beautiful faces makes it all better. Parenthood is one crazy ride weather you have 1, 2 or more kids! Keep up the positivity! It is catchy!

It must be something in the air right?
I keep thinking.."she is going to be 5 soon... 5 year olds do not throw fits, right?"

Though I am not to the point of grey hairs....yet; reading your blog always preps me for what's to come! For starters, your sister-in-laws description for temper tantrums "WAF" will now be adopted by me when my precious boy throws fits. Guess everyone is right when they say being a parent is never easy. You're doing great, keep up the good work.

I so feel your pain!! We had a moment this morning when K didn't want to put her panties on by herself.... although every other morning she would have been mad if we tried to help her! Can't win for losing sometimes! It's a good thing they are so stinkin' cute! :)
