Saturday Night Live

Look who we got to babysit on Saturday night? We had so much fun with little Gracie. GiGi is already asking when she will get to come back.

Gracie is three months old, and I am dying to get her outdoors for some fun new pictures in good natural light. Every time I am with her, the weather has not cooperated. Hopefully, it will be soon, and I am sure Miss GiGi will want to be my photography assistant.

Little G

I met this newborn baby for the first time last weekend. I was so happy to see him and his mom, and to capture some of his first pictures. His mom used to be one of GiGi's favorite teachers at school, but she got married and moved away. We were so sad when she had to move, but we are so happy to hear about her new life as a Mommy. I know she will be a great one!

This beautiful blue eyed boy was almost three weeks old at our shoot, and he was the perfect baby.

I love baby yawns.

I adore this picture of him and his beautiful mom...even more so since his little fingers are laying nice and flat. :)
Congrats Amber and Rustin on the new addition to your family! He is beautiful! I hope to see the three of you again very soon.

BABY BLOOPERS

Yesterday was my very first time to get "FLIPPED OFF" by one of my clients. What did I do to deserve this???...not once, but three times!
Baby G - I think you misunderstood me. I asked you if you liked hearing the birds. I didn't tell you to give me the bird. :)

This next one really cracks me up. :)

Tears of JOY

I have a cousin who is like a sister to me. We know almost everything there is to know about one another and talk to each other almost daily. Although most years of our lives, we have been separated by long distance, we have always been able to remain close. We have shared so much throughout the years, and I miss her and her family a lot. This week, I miss them even more, because I am missing out on a big event in their lives. When my cousin and I were young, we shared our desire to be able to adopt a baby/babies one day. It was a dream we both had. Well, I can happily say that dream is coming true for her, and for me as well, because I am gaining a new family member today. I am thrilled to have this beautiful girl in my life.

I remember calling my cousin the night their baby girl arrived at their home, and hearing the emotion in her voice. She said that from the first moment she looked at her, she knew it was meant to be. I received this picture via e-mail from my cousin that night. I took one look at this beautiful baby girl and instantly fell in love, and I KNEW MY COUSINS HAD TOO.

She has grown up a lot over the last couple of years, and I have loved seeing her during summer vacations, through e-mail pictures, and talking to her on the phone. This girl can talk your ear off. We might be in trouble when we get her and GiGi together next time. :)

This is probably my favorite picture of her! I look at it often.

This smile will light up a room, and I know there will be many smiles today, because.....

TODAY, IT BECOMES OFFICIAL. Just typing those words bring tears of joy to my eyes.

I wish I could be there to share this moment with you and to hug all of you. You have been blessed with four beautiful girls who I love dearly. I hope to see you soon!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!

Baby Will - 8 Months

I can't get enough of this sweet baby boy. His MANY expressions are the cutest things EVER! I always look forward to photographing him. Here are a few of my favorites.

The yellow chair pictures turned out to be my absolute favorites. I like the ones of him looking down because you can see his sweet cheeks along with his piggies.

See you in a few weeks, Will!

Ray of Sun

I have been playing around with light and my camera. I am trying to venture out of my comfort zone. I have had a couple of conversations this week with nature/architecture photographers who have inspired me to get my camera out.

Of course, I couldn't post without a new picture of Princess GiGi.

A VERY WET EASTER DAY

Fortunately, the Easter Bunny knew there was a 100% chance of rain on Easter Day, so he snuck these cute rain boots into GiGi's Easter basket. She was so happy to get to play in the rain and splash in the puddles.
